SOCIETY WEB SITE
The Society web masters have got the new, improved website running smoothly, our site has the addition of the current Newsletter and extracts from our latest magazine (latest magazine – “Diamond Anniversary Special” - out now). Additional links with other “fishy” sites have also been set up. If you would like a look the new web address is:
www.plymouthfishkeeperssociety.co.uk
Carol Cann would like some photographs for the web site, so perhaps we can generate some for her to add to the site.
HOME AQUARIUM AND POND COMPETITION
Yes! It is that time already, time to polish your fish and fill up your pond because we need to get ready to rumble! The competition will be judged sometime in July/August this year as June is chalked full of celebratory events. This gives you time now to get everything ready. The competition organisers will be collecting names this Month and next, and this will be announced at the meetings. Entries are free so get your name down now, it is great fun and you get to see your aquarium and/or pond on the big(ish) screen.
60th ANNIVERSARY DINNER
To celebrate our substantial “milestone” we are having an evening dinner at the Marine Biological Association (M.B.A.) H.Q. by the Citadel. This will be held on Saturday 28th June 2008 at 7.00pm. There is no bar available so please remember to bring along the beverages of your choice. This should be a memorable occasion. See you there.
